We are excited to welcome your child to school tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.  Whether you are family drop off or a bus in the morning, all Grade 4 students report to the cafeteria.  Grade 5 students report to the gym where your child’s teacher will meet them.

Tomorrow we have “tags” to put on your child’s backpack so they can better remember their address and bus number.  The sleeves we were going to put the tags in “have been in the mail” for months so these tags are not very pretty.  We are sorry and plan on reprinting in the future.

Please reinforce with your child and message your child’s teacher if they are a parent pick in the afternoon.  Common confusions we have that we want to avoid are…

• Students who were dropped off in the morning but bus on the way home.  This is fine, but often students forget what “the plan” is.

• Families who moved recently within Dennis and Yarmouth and did not tell the bus company or the school yet.  These students are confused as to  whether to take the bus to their new place or old place.

Please message us if you have moved and just have not alerted us yet.  Please also contact your child’s teacher to help reinforce dismissal plans.  Getting dropped off on Day 1 and taking the bus home is no problem, but sometimes, at the last minute, our students panic.
